Yes, you can, but we recommend pairing these two services. Start with in-person gait analysis to gain an understanding of your strengths and weaknesses, and then use your running coach to make improvements and achieve your goals.

Running coaching with out athletic trainers is a virtual service available through our app.
How long is a run coaching arrangement?
Typically, runners meet with their coach for 4-5 months in order to meet their objectives. However, the length of your arrangement is solely dependent on your goals.
How long is a gait analysis session?
Each in-person gait analysis session is 60 minutes long and includes a 30-minute follow-up session.
What experience do MOTIVNY running coaches have?
All trainers at MOTIVNY have years of coaching experience in running and strength training, and many have relevant certifications. Greg Laraia, the head of the run coaching program, is an athletic trainer (ATC) who specializes in a wide variety of skills, including hands-on soft tissue mobilization, taping, and other modalities.
We most commonly see athletes, both recreational and professional, adolescent and adult. We pride ourselves in our ability to bridge the gap between rehab and performance, and get our patients back to their preferred fitness activities better than before they got injured.
